About Us
Rejuvenate your soul at a hidden gem in the picturesque region of Morogoro - the agricultural heartland of Tanzania. The lodge is a mere 30 minutes from the gate of Mikumi National Park, which has some of Tanzania’s richest concentrations of animal, bird and plant life.
We are committed to offering exceptional service at an affordable price for all of our guests to experience a truly Tanzanian safari.
PROUDLY TANZANIAN, FAMILY-OWNED LODGE
Utulivu was founded in 2003 by Alban Lutambi, a former road-building contractor from Iringa. Our lodges have since become one of the most sought-after lodges in Ruaha and Mikumi through Alban's passion for Tanzanian hospitality and the country's travel industry.
Together with his two sons - Emmanuel and Donald Lutambi - Alban developed a long-term plan for the Utulivu Group to benefit future generations of travellers, the local community and the Lutambi family legacy.
